The Flex Belt is a medical grade device that uses electronic muscle stimulation (EMS) to contract and relax your stomach muscles.  It has been approved by the FDA to be effective and safe.  Once it is turned on, you will feel a mild pulsing sensation.  This will then be followed by a tightening on the abdominal muscles.  Your muscles will contract smoothly then hold themselves in a tensed position for only a few seconds and then they will relax again.

The great thing is you can control how powerful these sensations are with the intensity control.  The levels can go from 1 to 150.  The stronger you get, the higher the intensity.  That is what makes the Flex Belt so great.  It can be used for people of all fitness levels, whether just beginning or those already in good shape.

Another thing that people really like is its flexibility. This belt can be worn anywhere, at any time, while you are doing almost anything!  If you are late for work, just put on your belt and be working your abs while you are in the car driving to work.  If you are not in the mood for physical exercise, put on your belt and read a book or watch television.  Your abs will get a full workout every time you use the Flex Belt, no matter what you are doing at the time.

The Flex Belt has been through multiple 3rd party clinical tests, which is a unique feature in itself.  It has been tested for its effectiveness and safety by outside parties so that the manufacturers could prove without a doubt that the Flex Belt does exactly what it says it will, even though it could be hard to believe.  How often can you exercise your muscles without physically exercising them?  You can now, with the Flex Belt.

The Malibu Pilates Chair is a device that is to be used in conjunction with Pilates, which is a physical form of traditional exercise that has increased in popularity due to its outstanding and quick results.  The concept behind Malibu Pilates is to sculpt your legs, arms, buns, and thighs while working your abs with the adjustable spring resistance and easy to follow cardio moves.

The Malibu Pilates Chair was designed to fit into small rooms, so that anyone can use.    It is portable and folds up for easy storage.

You may want to read our full reviews of each:

The Flex Belt Abdominal Toning Belt is an advanced piece of technology that has been proven to work through clinical trials. The Flex Belt is the first EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) product that has been cleared by the FDA as a class II medical device that can be sold directly to consumers.

Not only is it scientifically proven to work your abs, it has also been proven by people who have already given the Flex Belt a try.  People who have tested the Flex Belt have reported that it has flattened and toned their stomachs without having to do the traditional exercises that never seem to work.

The Flex Belt will give you a mild pulsing sensation that is followed by the tightening abdominal muscles.  Its intensity level can be increased or lowered from 1 to 150.  One of the greatest aspects of the Flex Belt is the fact that you can watch television or work on your computer while your abs is getting a workout.

The Ab Circle Pro is a workout piece of equipment that works the abs and obliques.  It can also be used to work out your legs and buttocks.  It comes with three resistance levels.  The concept behind the Ab Circle Pro is that it works the abdominal muscles in a 360 degree fashion.

You will place your hands on the handle bars and your knees on the knee rest in an “all fours” position so that you are facing the floor.  You will then swing the lower half of your body as the knee rest moves in a semi-circular way in a track.  This swinging motion is designed to provide a cardiovascular benefit.

According to consumer reviews, the Ab Circle Pro and Flex Belt will both work your core.  However, the degree to which they work your abs is in question.  It appears that the Flex Belt can reach an extended area of your core; where the Ab Circle Pro is only able to tone a general area.

There are many complaints as to the quality of the Ab Circle Pro.  Many have reported complaints about the rollers wearing out, making the equipment fragile.  Other quality complaints include:  cracked kneepads, flaking paint, the spacer bar for the arms that the kneepads set on pops off, and the rollers are not centered on the rolling surface.  The company does not offer replacement parts.

Bottom line is that the Flex Belt has many more favorable reviews and seems to outperform the Ab Circle Pro in many areas, including effectiveness and quality.
